It's not often apps are done this well and for money it is a bargin in my opinion. There is a "hide wallpaper" selection in the dropdown which is useful if you are needing more CPU which brings the app to near zero cpu usage. As far as processing, on an 2017 imac i7 - spanning accross a 5k and 4k monitors (a pretty heavy lift) - in "low power mode" with all options ticked and resolution at the highest setting, activity monitor CPU hit is about 12% - it can go all the way up to 25% in "high power mode" with all the bells and whistles activated - which may sound high but considering the HD graphics, motion and how much info it conveys, I think they did a great job. The lite version is cool, the pay version has so much better graphics it is worth it to get tha pay version. This app is big and much time went into making it.
